Genshin Impact Symbols

Genshin Impact is an open-world RPG that follows a Traveler on their journey to reunite with their lost sibling. It’s a hugely popular game on multiple platforms and has generated billions of dollars in player revenue.

One of the things that makes Genshin Impact so interesting is all the different elements that affix themselves to characters and enemies during exploration and combat. Understanding what these icons mean can be confusing at times, so we’ve compiled a guide to all of them in this article.

Pyro Icon

The Pyro Icon is one of the more popular and common icons in Genshin Impact. It can be found on various enemies, locations, and areas in the game.

The Pyro element is one of the seven elements in Genshin Impact, and it’s used by a wide variety of characters throughout the game. It can be used for big explosions or as an effective damage-dealing ability for characters.

This element is also incredibly versatile, as it allows players to create a powerful combination of elemental reactions. Each reaction launches more damage at enemies, either in an AoE burst or over time.

For example, a character that uses the Pyro element can combine it with electro to deal a large amount of fire damage. This is a useful combination when defending against Hydro enemies, or dealing damage to multiple targets at once.

Another way to use the Pyro element is through a character that uses a polearm. Currently, there are only four polearm users in Genshin Impact, but two of them are Pyro characters.

Hu Tao is an explosive Pyro character that deals a lot of damage with her basic attacks and can even give extra CRIT damage to her teammates. She can also keep her HP low through her abilities, making her an excellent choice for players looking to get more out of their pyro builds.

Hydro Icon

Genshin Impact is a game that delineates its world, characters and game mechanics through elements and iconography. While the symbols may seem ambiguous at first, knowing what each element means is crucial to understanding your character and enemies’ abilities.

Hydro is one of the first elements that players will encounter in the game, and it’s a vital part of combat. It triggers reactions with all other six elements and can be used to deal massive damage with its Elemental Burst ability.

The Hydro Icon is also a useful symbol for identifying your enemies in combat. When you see an enemy with this icon over their head, it means that they’ve been affixed with the Hydro element.

If you’re a fan of this enigmatic icon, you can find t-shirts, stickers, wall art and more designed and sold by independent artists. Every purchase you make supports these artists and helps them continue creating great products in socially responsible ways.

Kyocera has a history of making rugged, water-resistant phones, and the Hydro Icon joins their ranks. It’s a solidly built Android phone that packs plenty of performance for the price and features no-contract service from FreedomPop. But call quality is a little bit sluggish, and the camera can’t quite match some of the more high-end smartphones on the market.

Anemo Icon

Anemo is one of the first elements you encounter in Genshin Impact, and it’s used by a lot of characters. The element uses gusts of wind and blasts of air to deal damage, and it’s best utilized with other elements to create powerful Elemental Reactions.

Almost all Anemo characters have an ability that makes exploring easier, like Kazuha’s sprinting stamina boost or Venti’s glide time increase. Using these skills in combination can make it much more enjoyable to travel around Teyvat’s massive map.

Jean is a five-star Anemo character that’s popular for her ability to knock back mobs of enemies, allowing her to heal herself and her team. However, she doesn’t have the same control over the battlefield as four-star Sucrose, so she’s not as valuable for most teams.

Jean calls upon the wind’s protection to create a swirling Dandelion Field that deals Anemo Damage and displaces surrounding enemies. She can also build a vacuum of wind energy, which generates numerous wind slashes and creates storm damage. The longer she holds this skill, the more slashes it generates. If the vortex reaches a large enough size, it will explode, dealing additional storm damage and reducing the enemy’s HP.

Geo Icon

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play action RPG from MiHoYo that has gained a huge following. Its combat is intricate and addictive, and it has a gacha monetization system that allows players to wish for their favorite characters and weapons.

The game also has a lot of icons that delineate various elements and mechanics. While most of these are fairly straightforward, there are a few that are less clear or aren’t explained well.

One of the most important icons in the game is the Geo Icon. In addition to providing shields, the element can deal damage and trigger reactions with other elements.

Fortunately, Genshin Impact has a few great Geo characters to choose from. Some of them can make incredible supports and others are great main damage dealers.

For example, Zhongli is a five-star character with a versatile set of abilities that can scale up to deal massive damage while reducing opponents’ defensive stats. He can also provide team buffs that can help other team members achieve a higher DEF stat.

However, before we get into which Geo characters are the best to level in Genshin Impact, it’s important to understand how the element works. In this post, we’ll discuss the Geo element and its resonance effects, as well as all of the Geo reactions that it triggers.

Electro Icon

The Electro Icon is a tad bit smaller than the other elements, but it’s still got some juice. This pixel perfect icon is available in iOS, Material, Windows and other design styles, so you can use it in all of your web and mobile designs.

It’s also a fun piece of UI to play with and it helps to make the game feel more alive and immersive. It’s also an excellent example of a graphical style that’s a bit overdue for a revival, especially in mobile games.

If you’re looking for the best way to display this one, you’ll want to go with a square or rectangular shape, or perhaps add some opacity to your fonts. Alternatively, you could try using an image editor and make your own Electro Icon using an image or two from your local library.

The best thing about this oh so cool gizmo is that you don’t have to be an artist or an IT wizard to use it. This is because it’s all about displaying a series of small glyphs on a screen, so you can resize and rotate it without having to worry about losing any of its functionality.

Dendro Icon

Dendro is the latest core element added to Genshin Impact. It is one of the seven elements in the game, but isn’t yet available to play as a character.

It is also not known what reactions the element will have with other elements. Many fans speculate that it will have a similar reaction to Geo’s crystallize reaction, meaning that it will be more defensive/supportive than offensive.

There are only a few playable Dendro characters in the game at the moment, including Tighnari and Collei. However, more Dendro characters are expected to be released in the future.

The Dendro element can be found in the region of Sumeru, and players will have to complete certain puzzles in order to get access to it. A popular one is the Tumor of the Withering, which requires Travelers to remove three withering branches from a tree.

In addition to these, Dendro can also be found in chests in Sumeru and can be acquired through one-time Domains. It can be used to upgrade your Statue of the Seven.

In Genshin Impact lore, the region of Sumeru is governed by the Dendro Archon. She is a Lesser Lord of Genshin Impact, and her powers can be used to heal player characters or damage enemies.

Cryo Icon

The Cryo Icon is a symbol used to denote the Ice Element in Genshin Impact. It can be found on enemies, items, and certain regions. It can also be a status effect that slows movement speed and attack speed animations.

The ice element is not only important for its gameplay, but it also has a lot of visual impact on the game’s environment. Players can find the Cryo Icon in snowy landscapes, icy mountains, and frozen lakes.

In addition to that, the Cryo Icon can also be seen on ice bridging features that allow characters to cross over frozen water surfaces, which is a unique ability to this element.

This is a great way to show off your element and its effects in a creative fashion. You can use it on your phone case, t-shirt, or even as a sticker!

One of the first new elements to be added to Genshin Impact was Cryo. As the name suggests, this element specializes in ice damage, and it triggers reactions with 5 out of the 6 elements.
