For more information, contact your high school counselor. This program has proven to be a success for students. In fact, more than 97% of students in CFISD earned college credit during the 2019-2020 school year.

There are several benefits to dual credit courses. One of the biggest benefits is that you earn college credit while in high school. Your college transcript will reflect the changes. You will also be better prepared for college when you complete your core classes during high school. Your transcript will reflect the new grade. By completing college courses while you are in high school, you will save money by reducing the number of credits you have to take when you graduate.

When a student is enrolled in a dual credit course, they will have to make sure they are eligible. They should be aware of the deadlines and make sure that they are met. The deadlines for dropping a course should be noted on the academic calendar. In addition, it is important for students to understand that they will not be able to attend a course without a drop form.
